Yorkshire MESMAC has received a donation from Asda Leeds Home Shopping Centre, as part of its ‘Chosen by you…given by us’ initiative.

The Charity was one of three organisations that colleagues have been voting for over the past two months, by placing a token in a clear plastic box in the store’s new community area.

Yorkshire MESMAC received the most votes from colleagues, showing just how important the organisation is to local people. Asda Leeds Home Shopping Centre store manager Pete said: “The scheme contribution reflects our commitment to supporting the local community. We’re thrilled to give Yorkshire MESMAC this donation and would like to thank everyone for taking part.”.

The donation has been funded by the Asda Foundation, which was set up in 1988 to support local good causes chosen by Asda colleagues, and is funded by profits from the mid-week national lottery.
