A representative has spoken on behalf of R&B star, Chris Brown, and denied accusations from earlier this week, that he used a homophobic slur to attack a fan.

On the alleged attack, Mr Brown’s rep said: ”This is a fabricated story that horribly uses the subject of homophobia as a means to garner attention to one’s self,” reported EntertainmentWise.

Earlier this week, the star was accused of shouting a homophobic slur at a fan who asked him to sign an autograph.

PerezHilton reported that a fan, named Lucas Peter, claimed he saw Chris Brown at Arclight cinema in Hollywood, and asked him to sign an autograph for him. He said:

“The movie let out and I saw Chris come out the front door, sort of semi-running. I approached Chris and asked him to sign my CD cover.”

“His bodyguard stopped me and said Chris wouldn’t be signing, so I told him Rihanna signs all the time. That’s when Chris stopped in the garage by the parking pay stand and yelled ‘f***ot’ at me.”

Mr Peter then said he responded by bringing up the controversy between Mr Brown and ex-girlfriend, and fellow singer, Rihanna:

“I walked over to where Chris was getting in the elevator and called him a wife beater and asked him if he was going to beat Rihanna again. Chris said, ‘I beat p***y’ and then his bodyguard tried to scare me by saying, ‘And I beat men.’”

In 2011, Mr Brown’s management threatened to sue Star Magazine for reporting that he lost his temper duing a basketball game, and called other players ‘”faggots”.

Prior to that, he was forced to defend himself after using the word “gay” in a derogatory way when talking to a photographer. He Tweeted: “I have total respect for Gay community and my intention was not to insult anyone in it.”
