By car:  follow the signs to Wakefield city centre from junctions 39 or 41 of the M1.  Pay and display car parks are to be found near Wakefield Pride stage.

By train:  Wakefield has two railway stations, Westgate and Kirkgate.  Westgate is served by excellent regional, trans-Pennine and intercity train services and is only two hours from London Kings Cross, 25 minutes from Sheffield or 15 minutes from Leeds.  Kirkgate is served by local trains.  It is only a few minutes walk to the Wakefield Pride stage from either station.

By bus:  Wakefield bus station is on Union Street, less than five minutes walk from the Southgate and is served by local, regional and national services.
